AH - if I only had a girl! Check out these springy delights from our TALENTED visiting artist this month! I am thrilled to introduce Courtney Neal of Tu Tu Classy Couture!
When the ultrasound technician said "It's a Girl!"....it didn't take long before I started dreaming of how much fun it was going to be to dress up my little girl in all kinds of pretty, frou frou get ups. For the longest time, I've fantasized about owning my own children's clothing boutique, but I'm not one for taking huge risks, so I figured it was just going to be one of those dreams that would always be "just a dream". About two months after my job ended in February 2008, I decided what better time than to bring my fun and frilly ideas to life and thus "Tutu Classy Couture" was created. I figured if I couldn't have my own children's clothing boutique, then I was going to create some of the things that I would have sold in my store had my dream come true. I was hoping other people would fall in love with them as much as I did!
I started small-my first creation was just a simple tutu made of elastic and tulle. It was fun, but the more I looked at it, I became a bit bored. A few weeks passed and I started to add a little ribbon and "bling" to the tutus and made up a few hair accessories that matched the tutus. I showed them to friends and they were "wowed" and convinced me that I should start selling them. Since then, I've branched out into making hair bows, flower hairclips and barrettes in many different colors and styles, many of which are embellished with Swarovski crystals. Any place I can add a little bling, I'm going to do it!

It's been fun creating them for my friends' little girls! They send me pictures of their little princesses twirling and dancing around in their new tutu!
The tu tus are absolutely great for birthday parties, Halloween costumes, wedding/flower girl dresses, everyday dress up and photo props! I can even make a matching mini tutu for your favorite doll baby or teddy bear!
I keep a wide variety of tulle and ribbon colors in inventory, however if you are looking for something specific, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate your request.
Tutus for ages 6months to 5T. I can also make them for adults (for an extra fee).
